Without our wonderful volunteers we simply would not be able to deliver the OVO Energy Tour of Britain on to the scale that it is, as they provide crucial support to race organisers, spectators, teams and riders.

The 2018 race takes place between Sunday 2 and Sunday 9 September, taking in England and Wales – and race fans can now apply to volunteer at key points along each day’s route.

Click here to apply to volunteer at our stage starts and finishes.

We are also looking for local cycling clubs to assist at the Eisberg sprints and SKODA King of the Mountains climbs along the route of Stages One to Four, Six and Seven.

Ideally we are seeking 10 volunteers per club to assist OVO Energy Tour of Britain staff at each location for a short time prior to the race’s arrival until the final vehicles in the convoy have passed through.

This will provide a platform to promote your club to local cycling enthusiasts. Space and official race branding permitting, pop up tents, feather flags and banners are all permitted to be displayed.

Please e-mail info@thetour.co.uk for further information (on volunteering at Eisberg sprints and SKODA King of the Mountains climbs only).

Please note that applications will only be approved in mid-August, once the final time schedules, meeting points and logistics of the race are confirmed.
