Just weeks before the third stage of the OVO Energy Tour of Britain starts and finishes in the city, the Tour of Broadmead charity cycle challenge returns to Bristol Shopping Quarter for the third time next Saturday (28 July).

Organised by the Broadmead Business Improvement District (BID), the annual eight-day charity fundraiser is inspired by the Tour of Britain, and will see volunteer cyclists will cover the full distance of the UK’s leading cycle race, albeit on static bikes.

Riders will this year be raising money for eight charities: YMCA Bristol, British Heart Foundation, Teenage Cancer Trust, Above & Beyond, PROPS, Penny Brohn UK, St Peter’s Hospice and Southmead Hospital Charity.
