20/07/2010 – Going Live!
Blogs hey, they're like buses! You wait for ages for one and then two come along together. So here's my second blog this month, after all we did promise you'd be getting a lot more Tour of Britain information over the coming weeks as we build up to September.
If you've had a look around the website this week you'll see there's a lot more information on the route The Tour will take going live. We've added some info on each of the towns and cities we visit as Start or Finish venues, plus some web links so you can find out more about the surrounding area and what there is to see ...

06/07/2010 – Full speed ahead for 2010
Hi everyone!
Apologies for the long break between blogs, but rest assured that now we're firmly into the summer we'll be blogging more often in the build up to The Tour of Britain. In fact there are just ten weeks to go until The Tour gets underway with Stage One from Rochdale to Blackpool, so preparations are in full swing.
While we may have been quiet on the blogging front, it's been all action on the cycling front. The Halfords Tour Series once again brought exciting town and city centre racing to a High Street near you, or even into your living room thanks to the ...

If there is one word you could use to describe this year's Tour of Britain, it would have to be "fantastic"! That's exactly how you could describe the racing, the organisation of the race and the spectacular crowds that came to support the riders everyday. And having met with a few of The Tour partners since the race came to an end, I can say that they agree with me on this.
I have to say that The Tour organisational team have not taken any rest since the race came to an end and work on the 2010 event has already started. For example, discussions are underway with new and ...

16/09/2009 – Time flies by
Time’s flying by isn’t it. Hopefully you’ve all been watching and catching the great action on the ITV4 highlights show each evening.
Five stages in and we’ve had three wins for Edvald Boasson Hagen (again!) and an emotional yellow jersey for Kai Reus, winning his first race since a life threatening crash in 2007.
Of course as we reach the South West, Boasson Hagen is now in yellow, with a team backing him up who look ominously strong! Thursday’s stage could well shape the race (just as in 2007 and 2008), so remember to keep visiting the website to get all the latest ...
