Route
Welcome to Stage 2 of the 2009 Tour of Britain which will see the riders racing from Darlington to NewcastleGateshead. This is The Tour’s second visit to this region, when last year we had a wonderful start in the market town of Darlington. This stage is very similar to stage 1 and has great finish location, for our second visit to NewcastleGateshead, which is near the Millennium Bridge on the banks of the river Tyne.
