Colnago - CSF Inox
Backed by the famous Italian cycle manufacturer Colnago, the CSF Inox team were rewarded with a wildcard place at the Giro d’Italia in May, and repaid the organisers with an excellent stage win for Manuel Belletti.
The team can trace their history right back to 1982 as Termolan, making them one of the oldest professional teams in existence, with riders like Lucien van Impe, Davide Cassani, Stefano Zanini (winner of the first ever Tour of Britain stage into Manchester back in 2004) and xxx riding for them over the years.
One older hand still with the team and likely to ride in Britain again is the diminutive climber Domenico Pozzovivo, who should find this year’s harder route to his liking, while the squad also boast fourth place finish at this year’s Milan – San Remo Sascha Modolo, an up-and-coming sprinter.
