Stage Two of the OVO Energy Tour of Britain starts on Younghayes Roads, Cranbrook on Monday 3 September.

The build-up begins from 08:00 ahead of the race start at 11:00. Explore the Stage Two map online here, or check out the race timetable here.

ACCESSIBILITY
For people travelling to Cranbrook for the start, please consider:

Bike: Cranbrook is just under six miles away from Exeter City Centre, which will take approximately 40 minutes. Visit the interactive Exeter cycle map to find the best route.

Rail: Journeys from Exeter Central Station to Cranbrook take approximately 10 minutes, but run on an hourly basis. Fans wishing to see the race start are advised to board the 08:27 or 09:30 departures.

Cranbrook is also served by Honiton, Feniton, and Whimple. Visit the National Rail website to plan your journey.

Please check the train operators’ cycle policy if you are planning to take your bike on the train.

Bus: Journeys from Exeter Bus Station to Cranbrook take approximately 24 minutes. Visit the Stagecoach website to plan your journey. Please note that buses will stop on St Michael’s Way in Cranbrook, and not on Younghayes Road, on the morning of the race.

Road: From the M5/ A30 follow the B3174 signs to Cranbrook.

Car parking: Due to limited on-street parking, a spectator car park site on Court Royal Road has been made available for those wishing to arrive by car. This will be signposted by road diversion signs, and is located a 15-minute walk away from the start. A donation to the Town Council’s nominated charity would be appreciated.

Disabled Parking: A small number of disabled parking spaces have been made available at the Taylor Wimpey offices on the Younghayes Roundabout.

ROAD CLOSURES
Owing to the start location of Stage Two, a full road closure will be in operation on:

Younghayes Road (from Three Corner Field to St Michael’s Way): from 04:30 until 14:00

Burrough Fields and the Cranbrook Station Car Park: from 06:00 until 14:00

Tillhouse Road: no parking permitted, except for designated parking bays.

Court Royal: no parking permitted

St Michael’s Way: no parking permitted, bus diversion route.

WHAT’S ON?
Cranbrook’s Event Village will open at 08:30 on the day of the race’s visit, and will feature trials performances from Andrei Burton (09:00) and a lead-out parade of local cycle groups (10:45).

SPECTATORS WITH IMPAIRED MOBILITY
A viewing platform for spectators with impaired mobility and their carers will be located outside of the Co-op store on Younghayes Road.
