ACCESSIBILITY
For people travelling into London, please consider:

Bike: Hire a Santander Cycle from as little as £2. Simply go to any docking station with your bank card and touch the screen to get started. There’s no need to book – hire a bike, ride it where you like, then return it to any docking station. Click here for more information.

Although all docking stations will remain available, traffic congestion in the area may make it difficult for redistribution vehicles to collect and/or replace bicycles close to the event route.

London Underground: Piccadilly Circus (Bakerloo and Piccadilly lines), Charing Cross (Bakerloo and Northern), Green Park (Jubilee, Piccadilly and Victoria) and Oxford Circus (Central and Victoria) and Westminster (Circle, District and Jubilee) all fall within, or close to, the Tour of Britain circuit.

Please note that these stations are expected to be busier than usual.

Rail: London Charing Cross falls on the eastern side of the circuit, while Victoria is a 10-minute walk. Visit the National Rail website to plan your journey.

Bus: Buses in and around the route area will be on diversion or will terminate earlier than usual to avoid the road closures. Some stops will also be temporarily relocated or suspended. Buses will be affected between 03:00 and 23:00 on Sunday 9 September.

Affected routes include: 3, 6, 9, 11, 12, 15, 15H, 19, 23, 24, 25, 29, 38, 53, 55, 87, 88, 91, 94, 139, 159, 176, 453, C2, RV1, N3, N18, N97,  N109, N113, N136, N550, N551
