It’s the fans who make the Tour of Britain the event that it is, with packed crowds lining the routes every day, from Glasgow in Scotland, to the final stage in London and even the wind and rain of the summit finish on Haytor, Dartmoor. If you’ve been to any Tour of Britain stage start or finish in recent years, then two fans in particular will be familiar thanks to their noticeable cowboy hats.

We caught up with Father and Son Alan and Andy during this year's race to find out what it is that keeps them coming back each September for more Tour of Britain action at the roadside.

Don't forget you can watch highlights from all eight stages plus interviews, features and more on our Video page here.
