The dates for the 2016 edition of the Aviva Tour of Britain have been confirmed, with British Cycling’s premier road cycling event and the UK’s biggest professional cycle race taking place from Sunday 4 to Sunday 11 September,

The eight-day race will again be ranked at the 2.HC level as a part of the UCI Europe Tour, attracting the world's top teams and riders to race on British roads, against the best of the British domestic scene and this countries most promising youngsters.

More details on the route for the 2016 Aviva Tour of Britain will be announced in the coming months with the National Launch of the race held early in the Spring, when the full route will be unveiled.
