The 2018 OVO Energy Tour of Britain route launch will take place in London on the evening of Tuesday 5 June.

This event will see the route for the 2018 race unveiled in all its glory, with new venues and locations for fans to look forward to, including a couple of surprises to coincide with this year’s race being the 15th edition of the modern national tour.  This year’s race takes place from Sunday 2 to Sunday 9 September.

As well as announcing the start and finish venues for each stage as per usual, we will reveal more information than ever before on launch day. In addition to publishing detailed stage maps and profiles (including the locations of the intermediate Eisberg Sprints and the ever-popular SKODA King of the Mountains locations for each leg), stage-by-stage timings will allow supporters to fully plan their visits to the race.

The launch will also see us confirm which UCI WorldTour teams we’ll see racing in Britain this September, with another star studded line-up due to be on the start line come our Grand Départ.

Before then, don’t miss all seven of Britain and Ireland’s UCI Continental teams in action in the OVO Energy Tour Series, which gets underway in Redditch on Thursday 10 May.  Their performance in the Series, along with other domestic British events, will help decide which four of the teams qualify to join the list of UCI WorldTour and UCI ProContinental teams due to race in the OVO Energy Tour of Britain.
