The four Madison Clothing leaders’ jerseys that are up for grabs at the AJ Bell Tour of Britain 2022 have been revealed.

They are headlined by the AJ Bell leader’s jersey, which is supported by the Manchester-based investment platform who will be title partners of the race for the second year. For the first time in modern Tour of Britain history this jersey is red and, with none of the 18 teams in the race wearing the same colour, this will ensure the AJ Bell Tour of Britain leader is easy to pick out in the 108-rider peloton.

AJ Bell’s easy-to-use, no-nonsense investment app Dodl, will support the blue Dodl by AJ Bell points jersey. This is awarded to the most consistent finisher in the race, which over the years has been won by standout names such as Mark Cavendish and Geraint Thomas.

For the 11th edition running the race’s best climber will wear the ŠKODA King of the Mountains jersey, which features as part of its design the contours of the Carlton Bank climb that lies on the stage four route in North Yorkshire.  Twenty-five categorised climbs across the eight stages will help decide the winner of the green and black ŠKODA jersey, won in the past two editions by Jacob Scott.

The final jersey has a fresh new look for 2022, with Tour of Britain hospitality partners partnering with our white sprints jersey. Riders will be fighting for bonus seconds and points at 24 intermediate sprints across the week, the first of which comes at Inverurie in Aberdeenshire after 27.5 kilometres of racing on day one.

Madison has created rider apparel since 1977, creating cycling clothing that’s made to help you ride whatever the weather.

In addition to the stage winner and jerseys being presented on the podium at each stage finish, we will also recognise the leading British rider overall and the winner of the daily Adyen combativity award.
