That is what’s different in their DNA. Pinarello’s bikes are created to push the boundaries, to test the limits of our know-how. You know a Pinarello the second you see one because it looks quick even when it’s standing still. It has a style that’s hypnotic, lines that celebrate the beauty of speed. It’s a natural born winner, because we’re not interested in just taking part.

Accurist have been a part of British culture marking key moments in time for the last 70+ years. Founded in Clerkenwell, London – the heart of British watchmaking – in 1946, Accurist have been owned, run, and designed in the UK ever since.

The Beatles have worn Accurist watches, the England men’s football team have previously partnered with Accurist, and the countdown to the Millennium was sponsored by Accurist. Many will know the brand from the Speaking Clock: “the time sponsored by Accurist” line ran from 1986 to 2008 and was heard over three billion times.

In 2021 Accurist started the journey of fully revitalising the brand. Eventually, the decision was made to discontinue all previous watches and introduce seven new collections, all of which were inspired by past watches. To ensure consistent high-quality materials and finish, Accurist use materials commonly found in Swiss brands at a more accessible price point.

To commemorate the partnership with the Tour of Britain, Accurist have created a limited edition gift set. This is a bespoke bracelet watch packaged with an additional leather strap.

There are 100 sets being produced, all of which will be numbered. Designed specifically by their in-house design team in the UK, the watch celebrates the Tour of Britain and cycling as a sport.

Tour of Britain Brother partners

Partner of the race since 2016

Brother UK have sponsored the Tour of Britain since 2014. Since 2016, they have served as the official print and results partner.

In 2022, Brother UK expanded their commitment to become the race’s green zone partner. The goal of Brother UK’s green zone partnership is to share learnings around sustainability.

Brother UK have twice won the Queen’s Award for Enterprise (Sustainable Development) and their global headquarters in Japan is committed to making the entire business carbon free by 2050. ESG principles and the circular economy are embedded in the company’s culture.

The race will pass the Brother Industries (UK) Recycling Technology Centre on stage two. This state-of-the-art recycling facility in Ruabon is certified ‘carbon zero’ by The Carbon Trust. Thousands of toner cartridges are recycled and remanufactured here each year. Additionally, recovered plastics are moulded to make selected new Brother products. The plant sends zero waste to landfill and will soon be powered by solar energy.

Brother UK’s cycle sponsorship portfolio also includes two domestic teams: Team Brother UK-Orientation Marketing and Team Hutchinson-Brother UK. Crucially, this support is monetary rather than value-in-kind, helping these squads meet race entry fees, fuel bills, hotel bills, meals, and clothing. Phil Jones MBE, Brother UK’s Managing Director, is a passionate supporter of elite British road racing and a trusted advisor to the domestic sport’s senior leaders.
