The OVO Energy Tour of Britain, the UK’s most prestigious and longest-running race, returns in September for eight days of free-to-watch sporting action – and there’s still time for you to get involved!

As ever, there are a number of ways that residents, businesses and communities can support the event and the competing world-class athletes.

Decorate your town

Make your town stand out along a stage route by decorating it – and yourselves – in one common colour!

The Oxfordshire market town of Faringdon turned pink for the OVO Energy Women’s Tour‘s visit there in June – and it looked amazing!

Enter the National Land Art competition

We launched our inaugural competition to look for the best and most eye-catching land art alongside the route of the 2018 OVO Energy Tour of Britain – the entries were so good the competition is returning this year.

If you think that you can come up with the most innovative and eye-catching design, be sure to get your entry in before the end of August. Click here for more information.

Embrace the race!

The OVO Energy Tour of Britain offers a great opportunity for local businesses and communities along route of each stage to celebrate and embrace cycling as the race comes past their front door, as well as maximise on business opportunities from increased customers and visitors.

From decorating shop windows with union flags to serving a cycling-inspired menu in a cafe, the event can bring fantastic benefits for anybody embracing it. Click here to read our community case studies.
