With just over two weeks to go until the start of the 2017 OVO Energy Tour of Britain now is the time to get planning exactly where you’re going to see the world’s best riders this summer!

A stellar line-up of 20 teams have already been announced, with riders of the likes of former World Road Race Champion Michal Kwiatkowski and current World Time Trial Champion Tony Martin already confirmed. There are plenty more big names set to be announced over the coming days, so you certainly don’t want to miss out!

All the tools are now available for you to plan your trip to Britain’s biggest professional bike race in fine detail to make sure you can see the riders as many times as possible.

On every Stage page on the website you can now find:

  • Interactive Google map – with Start, Finish, 0KM, SKODA King of the Mountains and Eisberg Sprint points clearly labelled, you can zoom right down to street level to follow the route.
  • Overview PDF maps – download a clear overview map which you can print off and keep in your pocket if you’re following the race around on the day.
  • Estimated Time of Arrival – In-depth document which details what time the front riders are expected on each road along the route. On the right-hand side of the document you can find a slow, average and fast pace timing for the riders to help you predict what time they will arrive at the finish each day.
  • Stage profiles – Details how much climbing there is on each Stage and where exactly it comes along the route. Crucial if you’re looking to catch the riders at the decisive point of each day!

CLICK HERE TO VISIT OUR STAGE INDEX PAGE where you can then choose which Stage you’d like to look at in more detail.

Underneath the interactive maps you’ll also be able to find some text giving you more information about each of our start and finish venues. Over the next week or two this will also be joined by specific spectator information provided by the venues, which will give you the key details for attending on the day such as travel arrangements and parking.

Happy planning!
