2024 race dates

The Tour of Britain 2024 will take place from Sunday 1 to Sunday 8 September. Race dates were confirmed by the UCI on Friday 22 September 2023.

Where is the 2024 race going?

Details of the route will be released in due course.

Fans should note that, as part of our new multi-year agreement with the Welsh Government that was unveiled in November 2022, the Women’s Tour Grand DĂ©part in 2024 will take place in Wales. As a result, the Tour of Britain is not scheduled to visit the country again until 2025.

What about the stages cancelled in the 2022 race?

Which teams are competing?

Competing teams and riders will be announced in July 2024.

Where can I watch?

The Tour of Britain is televised live on ITV4 in the UK and around the world by Eurosport and the Global Cycling Network (GCN).

Cycling enthusiasts will be able to watch every moment of the 2024 race on ITV4 as they exclusively broadcast all eight stages live from start to finish for the seventh edition running. A one-hour highlights show will also be shown each evening.

ITV4 is available on Freeview (channel 25), Freesat (channel 117), Sky (channel 120), Virgin Media (channel 118) and the ITV Hub (online) in the UK.
