If the title of this piece worried you, panic not! The Tour of Britain made its debut as a question on BBC One’s long-running quiz show Pointless on Thursday (8 April 2021).

Finalists Lynsey and Simon from Christchurch, Dorset, could have won £2,000 had they correctly identified an obscure venue that welcome the 2019 race.

For anybody wishing to play at home, of the 13 towns and cities that hosted a start or finish in the last edition of the Tour of Britain to date, nine are pointless answers, four of them are not.

Watch the video below to discover the answers – or scroll to the bottom of this article!

If anybody knows Lynsey and Simon, we’d love to hear from them and welcome them to the 2021 Tour of Britain. They can contact us via our website here.
